Nowadays a lot of websites use Interactive Menu's. They use these menu's to make it easier for users to find out information fast / easy. They are normally on the left or right side of the of the website.

Animated Captions
Animated captions are used for the viewers at home to play along,
everything is clear for the viewer to read and understand easily.
They have effects and sound effects.

IdentsIdent is short for identification, they are displayed to identify it's service. Every channel now has an ident such as BBC, ITV, MTV, etc. They are also used on the radio but they are audio 'station' id not visual. They used to be made just in black and white, but now they are like short full colour films. Each channel has competition, so they have to stand out from all the other channels.

A title sequence is something which films or television programs present their title, there are a lot of different ways to make a title sequences, using animated or with cast, or just words.
The end credits show credits to everyone that was involved in the film, sometimes it will have bloopers with with the credits, or ever just animations.

Estings are just like idents but for E4, they are normally about 10 seconds long and can be made anyway. Competitions are on for people to make them and compete to get their sting on the E4 channel. E4 look for one that stands out creativity to beat all the other channels.
